Our Mission
The Social Committee of the UC Riverside Department of Entomology is a dedicated group of faculty, postdocs, graduate students, and researchers tasked with organizing regular gatherings that foster collegiality and community within our department. We plan coffee hours, First Friday–style events, and other department-wide activities. Members coordinate volunteer contributions, manage event logistics, and work together to ensure the committee fulfills its goal of creating meaningful social opportunities for everyone in the Department of Entomology.
